The NSTA's obesity series provides a more in-depth overview of the increasing issue of obesity not only in the UK, but globally. This 6 part series provides an opportunity to hear from leading experts in their respective areas of obesity research. From childhood obesity, through to the effects of obesity on ageing, whilst also debating whether society or the individual is responsible for the issue of obesity, and essentially what needs to be done to reduce the increasing prevalence including lectures from:
- Childhood Obesity: How do we tackle the major public health issue?, Dr Laura Stewart
- Supporting teenagers living with obesity, Professor Paul Gately
- Type 2 diabetes: from physiology to management, Dr Nicola Guess
- Obesity and the ageing brain: what are the risks?, Professor Louise Dye
Each webinar in the series is £25 for members or £30 for non-members. Or the whole obesity series can be purchased for £50 (member rate) offering a significant saving. The webinars are available on demand and can be viewed until 30 September.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD): This webinar has been endorsed by the Association for Nutrition (AfN) (EN175).

The delegate fee includes online access to all 6 of the webinars in the obesity series, a certificate of attendance (Endorsed by the AfN) and a summarising reflective practice for each webinar.
Group packages
Group packages are available for groups of 7 or more. Each individual within the group is able to view the purchased webinar at their own convenience (if part of the on-demand catalogue). Following registration of your group, you will receive a code for each individual to utilise when registering for the webinar selected. Purchase your group package here.
